Abstract: | A class of modified Wilson arbitrary quadrilateral nonconforming elements for an axisymmetric problem is proposed. Their convergence is proven by means of the strong patch test. The structure of this finite element class is investigated. Thus a general method of axisymmetric nonconforming elements with convergence properties is presented.
