Abstract: | This paper proposes a theoretical analysis for thecharacteristics of an external cavity Nd:YAG laser with feedback ofmultiple-beam interference, which is induced by the multi-reentranceof the light from the external Fabry--Perot cavity. The theoreticalmodel considers the multiple beam interference of the externalFabry--Perot cavity. It is found that the optical feedback signalsare distorted to pulse waveforms instead of the sinusoidal ones inconventional feedback. The experimental results are in goodagreement with the theoretical analysis. The obtained theoreticaland experimental results can advance the development of a laserfeedback interferometer. |
