| Abstract: | Analytical expressions of electric fields inside and outside ananisotropic dielectric sphere are presented by transformingan anisotropic medium into an isotropic one based on the multi-scaletransformation of electromagnetic theory. The theoreticalexpressions are consistent with those in the literature. The insideelectric field, the outside electric field and the angle betweentheir directions are derived in detail. Numerical simulations showthat the direction of the outside field influences the magnitude of theinside field, while the dielectric constant tensor greatly affectsits direction. |
