Self-organized Criticality in Hierarchical Brain Network

Abstract:
It is shown that the cortical brain network of the macaquedisplays a hierarchically clustered organization and the neuronnetwork shows small-world properties. Now the two factors will beconsidered in our model and the dynamical behavior of the modelwill be studied. We study the characters of the model and findthat the distribution of avalanche size of the model followspower-law behavior.
