Chiral Singularity in Hadronization

Abstract:Hadronization at finite temperature and density is discussed in the framework of the Nambu-Jona-Lasinio (NJL) model. The differential cross-section for the conversion of a quark-antiquark pair into two pions to the first order of 1/Nc expansion is calculated as a function of the c.m. energy s, temperature T and the chemical potendal u. The density effect is emphasized.
