| Abstract: | A kind of genetic algorithm for job shop problems is studied. Somenew ideas are introduced in the algorithm in order to control the scale of population and to improve the computing efficiency. Satisfactory optimization results of the problems are obtained according to the numerical experiment with the proposed algorithm. |
