| Abstract: | Combined with the D problem obtained from the 2006 Mathematic Modeling Contest of National University Student, and using the MATLAB, an analytical model is built for calculating the three major safety indices concerning gas and smut existing in coal mining. It is hoped that the introduced model will provide some helpful references for safe production in colliery industry. |
