| Abstract: | An efficient synthesis of carbazole analogs has been achieved via interaction of N‐protected‐2‐methylindoles with N,N‐dimethylformamide dimethylacetal as well as N,N‐dimethylacetamide dimethylacetal in the presence of pyrrolidine or 1,4‐diazabicyclo(2.2.2)octane (DABCO). |
