Synthesis and Biological Evaluation of Amide Derivatives of Imidazopyridine as Anticancer Agents |

| Abstract: | A series of new amide derivatives of imidazopyridine is synthesized and structures of the products are confirmed by 1H and 13C NMR, and mass spectral data. The synthesized derivatives are screened for their anticancer activity against four human cancer cell lines: lung cancer (A549), breast cancer (MCF-7), melanoma cancer (A375), and colon cancer (HT-29). Six synthesized compounds exhibit more potent activity than the control drug. |
