Determination of chromium in chrome ores |

| Abstract: | A method for the estimation of chromium in chrome ores is reported. Manganese dioxide or manganese ore in the presence of 9M sulphuric acid is used for the oxidative decomposition of different grades of chrome ores. The results compare favourably with those obtained by standard methods. |
