Abstract:ater,acetic acid,alcohol,and acetone were used as impregnation solvents to prepare a series of supported Fe/AIPO4-5 catalysts.The catalytic behavior of CO hydrogenation over these catalysts was significantly different. XPS, Mossbauer,TPR and TPD techniques were employed to characterize these catalysts. The results showed that the different properties of impregnation solvents affected strongly the existed states of active component on the surface of AlPO4-5 support, reducibility and adsorption behavior of the catalysts.It was suggested that the different performance of catalysts prepared in various impregnation solvents resulted from the different interaction between active component and support.
