Abstract:Salinipostins are cyclic enol-phosphotriesters isolated from a marine-derived Salinispora sp. as antimalarial compounds. Herein, the first enantioselective synthesis of salinipostin A was achieved. Organocatalyst-mediated asymmetric cyclopropanation and regioselective cyclopropane ring opening were the key steps.
