| Abstract: | (S)-(?)-Carbamalactic acid is the phenylcarbamate derived from natural (S)-lactic acid. This new chiral reagent was efficiently used for the resolution of racemic bases such as α-methylbenzylamine, ephedrine and α-(l-naphthyl)ethylamine. |
