| Abstract: | 2-Iodoaniline reacts with α,β-unsaturated carbonyl compounds in DMF at 100 °C in the presence of a catalytic amount of a palladium catalyst along with a base to afford the corresponding quinolones or quinolines in moderate to good yields. |
