Abstract: | Studies of the non-isothermal decomposition of M (mnt) (5-NO2-phen) (M=CoII, CuII, ZnII) were carried out by thermogravimetry. The thermal decomposition mechanisms and associated kinetics have been investigated. The kinetic parameters were obtained from an analysis of the TG–DTG curves by integral and differential methods. The most probable kinetic model functions were suggested by comparison of the kinetic parameters. Mathematical expressions for the kinetic compensation effect were derived. |
