| Abstract: | As a kind of promising natural biomaterial, the research and application of chitosan in the field of biology and medicine arouse more and more emphasis .In this review, the properties of chitosan and its derivatives as biomedical materials are described, Furthermore, current application of chitosan based biomaterials and their development trends are introduced. |
