Oxidative methods for synthesis ofα,α′-dioxygen-containing derivatives of dehydrodesthiobiotin

Conclusions The action of selenium dioxide in dioxane on the ethyl ester of-ketodebydrodesthiobiotin and of lead tetraacetate in glacial acetic acid on its N,N-diacetyl derivative give the corresponding ethyl esters of,-dioxodehydrodesthiobiotin and-oxo--acetoxy-N,N-diacetyldehydrodesthiobiotin.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Seriya Khimicheskaya, No. 9, pp. 2025–2028, September, 1972.
