Studies on the Characteristics of CoFe_2O_4 Catalyst Prepared by Chemical Precipitation under Microwave Radiation

Abstract:It was found that the catalyst aged under microwave radiation is much more active forH2O2 decomposition than that aged under conventional heating. Characterization of the catalysts showed that the above result could be interpreted by a hypothesis that orientation of ions (Co2 Fe3 ) in the solution was restricted by microwave electromagnetic field so that the surtace of thecatalyst is irregular.
