Abstract:Oxidation of oxylene to phthalic anhydride using supported V2O5/SiO2 and V2O5/C catalysts in fixed bed reactor under radiation of microwave was reported. Reactions were carried out under the action of 135 W microwave (2. 45 GHz) and the yields of phalic anhydride obtained on V2O5/SiOz and V2O5/C catalysts were 67% and 73% respectively.
