Abstract: | Marine sponges are a rich source of biologically active secondary metabolites with novel chemical structures. Eighty four anti-inflammatory compounds have been isolated from marine sponges. This is the first comprehensive review presenting the structures and anti-inflammatory activities of marine sponge metabolites. (100 references). |
