Abstract: | In the title compound, (Phen)2CuI(C6H4FN2O4) · 3.25H2O (Phen is 1,10-phenanthroline and C6H4FN2O4 is (5-fluorouracil-1)-yl-acetate), each Cu+ ion is five-coordinated by four basal N atoms and one oxygen atom, and the coordination geometry around each Cu+ ion is an irregular square pyramid. The crystals are orthorhombic, space group Pnma, with a = 13.080 (3), b = 16.023(4), c = 130.422(8) Å. |
