| Abstract: | The recent developments in speciation analysis are reviewed. 142 references, mostly publishedin recent years, are cited. The species-specific detection techniques are discussed as singledetector method, double detector method, and separation-detection method. The applications ofthe speciation analysis are summarized for natural water, soil and sediment, air, and biologicalsamples. Most of the analyses involved the speciation of metal elements and organometalliccompounds. The methods of sample pretreatment are also briefly described. |
