| Abstract: | In recent years, organometallic complexes, through their unique characteristics, such as diversity of metals, ligands and geometrical structures as well as changeable oxidation state and interaction of metal with ligand, have found success and brought a new dimension to the area. This review attempts, with critical appraisal, to bring the discussion of second and third nonlinear optical effects of organometallic complexes as well as giving their new progresses up to date. 26 references are presented. |
