Abstract:Solid-phase microextraction (SPME) is a solvent-free sample preparation technique in which a fused silica fiber coated with polymeric organic liquid is introduced into the sample. In this paper, theoretical aspects, operating models, factors of influencing sensitivity, applications and future development are introduced briefly with 19 references.
