稀土发光配合物在水溶液中的组装及生物成像研究

摘    要:稀土配合物具有较窄的f-f跃迁光谱带、较长的荧光寿命及较大的Stokes位移等独特的发光性质,同时其优异的顺磁性,赋予其在生物检测、疾病诊断及生物学活动研究中的重要应用价值。然而,稀土配合物大多水溶解性差,且荧光容易被环境中水分子O-H键的热振动淬灭等,极大地限制了其在水溶液及生物体系中的应用。近年来有研究表明,将稀土配合物组装成有序的二维或三维纳米材料,能够有效地促进其在水溶液及生物环境中的分散并提高或稳定其发光。综述了近年来稀土配合物在水溶液及生物环境中的自组装及生物成像等应用研究进展,并探讨了基于稀土配合物组装体的应用潜力和相应挑战,为进一步研究稀土配合物在水溶液中的组装行为及生物成像功能提供了理论基础。

Abstract:Rare-earth(RE) complexes that own advantages of narrow f-f emission bands, long lifetime, large Stokes shifts and excellent paramagnets have received increasing attention in the field of biological detection, disease diagnosis and biological activity researches. However, it is still a serious challenge for RE complexes to exist in water media steadily because of poor solubility and fluorescence quench effect. In recent years, investigations have shown that the assembly of RE complexes into ordered two-dimensional or three-dimensional nanomaterials can effectively promote their dispersion in aqueous solutions and biological environments, and improve or stabilize their luminescence. In this review, we highlighted recent research progress in the assembly and bioimaging of RE complexes in aqueous solutions or biological environments, and discussed the application potential and corresponding challenges. It provides a theoretical basis and new perspectives for further researches on the assembly behavior and bioimaging function of RE complexes.
