Abstract:A review with 77 references is given on the development of inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometric determination of rare earth elements, including current status, spectral and non-spectral interferences, overcome of interference, laser ablation-ICP-MS, electrothermal vaporization-ICP-MS, ultrasonic nebulizer-ICP-MS and their development trends.
