| Abstract: | Electron acceptors p-benzoquinone, 2, 3-dichloro-5, 6-dicyano-1, 4-benzoquinone.tetrachlorobenzo quinone and tetrabromobenzo quinone can form charge-transfer complexes with norfloxacin. Optimum conditions for determination, linear caIibration range and composition of complexes have been reported. The proposed method has been applied to the determination of norfloxacin in tablets and capsules with satisfactory results. |
