| Abstract: | 1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-4-oxobenzog]quinoline was halogenated with elementary chloride. The structure of the product — 1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-4-oxo-10-chlorobenzog]quinoline — was established by alternative synthesis. |
