| Abstract: | Blending poly(lactic-acid)(PLA)and polyurethane(TPU)has been performed in an effort to toughen the PLA without compromising its biodegradability and biocompatibility.The compability of the blend were predicted by solubility parameters and mixing enthalpy calculating,then investigated by dilute solution viscosity measurements,Dynamic Mechanical Analysis(DMA)and Scanning Electron Microscopy(SEM).The blend was found to be a partly compatible system.It was found that a nonlinear relationship existed between the... |
