摘    要:讨论了间规聚苯乙烯 (sPS) 尼龙 6(PA6) 磺化间规聚苯乙烯 (SsPS H) 蒙脱土纳米复合材料的制备技术和新材料的结构与性能特征 .蒙脱土经层间改性处理后 (MTN) ,可分别将SsPS H和aPS(无规聚苯乙烯 )插入其纳米层间 ,制备出插层型纳米复合物MTN SsPS和MTN aPS .在sPS/PA6/SsPS H三组分共混体系中加入MTN SsPS或MTN aPS ,进行四组分熔融共混即可制备出sPS/PA6/SsPS H/蒙脱土纳米复合材料 .TEM测定证实了蒙脱土在基体中的层厚分布约为 5 0nm .此外 ,采用DSC、DMA、XRD及力学性能测试仪等现代分析方法对sPS/PA6/SsPS H/蒙脱土纳米复合材料的结构与性能进行了详细研究 .研究结果表明这种纳米复合材料具有优良的综合性能

PREPARATION AND PROPERTIES OF sPS/PA6/MONTMORILLONITE NANOCOMPOSITES
Abstract:By using of organically modified montmorillionite(MTN),which was prepared by ion exchange between Na + ion in the clay and palmityltrimethylammonium ion in aqueous medium,MTN-S s PS(sulfonated syndiotactic polystyrene with sulfonation level of 4 13 mol%) and MTN- a PS(atactic polystyrene) intercalation compounds are prepared through solution intercalating and bulk free radical polymerization process,respectively.The intercalation of S s PS or a PS molecular chains with MTN lamellar sheets was demonstrated by the enlargement degree of the interlamellar distance as measured by X-ray diffraction.Then,the novel s PS/PA6/S s PS-H/montmorillonite nanocomposites were prepared through directly melt blending of MTN-S s PS or MTN- a PS with s PS,PA6 and S s PS-H(sulfonation level of 8 65?mol%).X-ray diffraction and TEM results show that the clay layers are exfoliated into nanoscale layers and randomly dispersed in the polymer matrix.The average nanoscale size ranges from 10 to 60?nm as obtained by statistics computation,which imply that s PS and PA6 molecular chains maybe intercalate between the layers of MTN during melt blending process.The formation of nanocomposites via melt intercalation depends upon the thermodynamic interaction between the polymer chains and the host silicates and the transport of the polymer chains from the bulk melt into the silicates layers.The miscibility of s PS and S s PS-H,together with the specific intermolecular interactions between PA6 and S s PS-H facilitate the s PS and PA6 intercalate between the MTN-S s PS layers,which,in turn,enhance the miscibility between s PS and PA6 in the composites as verified by DMA measurement.In addition,the mechanical testing shows that the properties of the nanocomposites are superior to the pure blend in terms of the strength and modulus without sacrificing their impact strength.
