熔体插层制备尼龙6/蒙脱土纳米复合材料的性能表征

摘    要:通过熔体插层成功地制备了尼龙6/蒙脱土纳米复合材料,测试了力学性能、耐热性能和耐溶剂性.通过TEM、WAXD、DSC等手段,研究了结构与结晶行为,并与插层聚合的尼龙6/蒙脱土纳米复合材料进行了对比.实验表明通过熔体插层可使尼龙6基体插层于蒙脱土中,所得到的复合物的性能较尼龙6有很大提高,且与插层聚合的尼龙6/蒙脱土纳米复合材料的性能相当.

Abstract:The Nylon 6/montorillonite nanocomposites are successfully prepared through melt intercalation process.The crystallization behavior of nanocomposites is studied by means of WAXD and DSC.The results show that the nanocomposites have a crystal structure and crystallization behavior different from that of Nylon 6.The presence of clay in the nanocomposites increases the crystallization temperature of Nylon 6,narrows the width of the crystalline peak and induces γ crystalline form.Mechanical property testing shows that the nanocomposites is superior to Nylon 6 in terms of heat distortion temperature,tensile strength and modulus without sacrificing its impact strength.The performance improvement of the composite at low filler content is superior to that of conventional counterpart composites.This is due to the nanoscale effect and the strong interaction between Nylon 6 matrix and montmorillonite interface as revealing in X ray diffraction,transmission electron microscopy and Molau testing.
