| Abstract: | A new synthetic method for synthesizing Mannich bases of Meldrum's acid and its 5 monoalkyl derivatives by using formaldehyde and amine as aminomethylating agent is reported. The chemical properties of the Mannich bases of Meldrum's acid and their derivatives are also discussed in this paper. |
