Abstract:The thermal behavior and mechanical property of PET/PBT blend fibers with dif-ferent dravv ratio have been studied.Two independent melting peaks corresponding to that ofpure PET and PBT fiber were observed in DSC curves of blend fibers.Blend fibers of lowdraw ratio showed two T_gs, but only single T_g for that of high draw ratio. The values of ini-tial modulus of the blend fiber possesses an additivity.
