Abstract:CdTe semiconductor nanocrystals were synthesized in aqueous solution by using thioglycolic acid(HSCH_(2)COOH) as the stabilizer.Obtained samples were characterized by means of Scanning Tunneling(Microscopy)(STM),UV-Vis,and PL emission.The size of the CdTe semiconductor nanocrystals was(controlled) by the reflux time.The PL spectra peaks and absorption spectra peaks(shifted) to longer wavelengths with the growth of the CdTe nanocrystals,and the colors of PL changed from green to red gradually.
