| Abstract: | Ten arylacyl aryl diazene compounds were synthesized in yields of 89 6%~95 6% under mild conditions with 4 hydroxy 2,2,6,6 tetramethyl 1 piperidinyloxyl as phase transfer catalyst in dehydrogenation of arylacyl arylhydrazines. Their structures were confirmed by elemental analysis, IR and 1 H NMR spectra. The reaction mechanism was discussed. |
