| Abstract: | The aluminosiloxane sol was prepared by the reaction of mixture of 2-methylacrylic acid with soldium silicate and aluminium nitrate. A soap-free emulsion polymerization of the methyl methacrylate-K2SO2-H2O system was carried out using aluminoxane sol to prepare aluminosilox-ane-PMMA. The products were characterized by IR, TGA, DSC, DTA and SEM. The resultis revealed that the surface of aluminosiloxane was chemically bound to the polymer. |
