Abstract:The interactions between phen-5,6-dione and ethyldiamine or cis-diaminomaleonitrile were studied via high performance liquid chromatography and electrospray ionization mass spectrometry respectively.The(results) show that the intermediate from the addition reaction between the carbonyl and amine groups formed first,it was further dehydrated to form the double bond.And if a conjugated system could be formed,the(resulting) intermediate would be dehydrogenated further into conjugated compounds of condensed rings.
