| Abstract: | A new indirect iodometric procedure for the determination of benzoyl peroxide has been developed.The method is based on the oxidation of potassium iodide in excess by benzoyl peroxide in the presence of citric acid as a catalyst and masking agent,and acetone is used as solvent.This method is characterized with simplicity, convenience, reproducibility and accuracy, the results is satisfied. |
