| Abstract: | A new complex Ni2(cbba)4(phen)2(μ2-OH2)(1,H2cbba=2-(4'-chlorine-benzoyl)benzoic acid,phen=1,10-phenanthroline)has been hydrothermally synthesized and structurally characterized by elemental analyses,TG,IR spectroscopy and single-crystal X-ray diffraction.The complex crystallizes in triclinic,space group P1 with a=1.07576(15)nm,b=1.7137(2)nm,c=1.9190(3)nm,α=83.487(2)°,β=84.592(2)°,γ=87.343(2)°,V=3.4970(8)nm3,and wR=0.1069 for 7883 observed reflections(1>2σ(I)).In the crystal structure,the nickel atom is six-coordinated with three carboxylate oxygen atoms from three different cbba ligands,one oxygen atom from coordinated water molecular and two nitrogen atoms from phen ligand,showing a distorted octahedral geometry.Furthermore,it |
