Abstract:A new type of desulfurization reaction was investigated in our laboratory.Two sulfur-bridging homobinuclear complexes (Cp2MS)2 (1,M=Zr; 2,M=Hf) and a novel organohafnium complex Cp2HfSC(H)NR]2 (3,R=c-C6H11) were respectively obtained from the reactions of Cp2ZrH2 with CS2,RNCS (R=n-Bu,c-C6H11,C6H5,2-C10H7) and Cp2HfH2 with c-C6H11NCS.The structures of the products were identified by elemental analyses,IR,1H and 13C NMR and MS spectra.The crystal structure of 1 was confirmed by X-ray diffraction.The organic products X=CH2 and CH3X(H) (X=S,NR) were identified by GC-MS analyses in the solution.
