Abstract:Bimetallic onion-structured nano MO0.9W0. 1S2 was obtained from Mo0.9W0.1S3 as a precursor, which was prepared by simple precipitation approach. At 900C , gas-solid phase redox reaction was taken place by reacting Mo0.9W0.1S3 with H2. The morphology and structure of the sample as prepared were characterized by Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), High-resolution Transmission Electron Microscopy (HRTEM) and Energy Dispersion X-ray analysis (EDS). The results indicated that in the condition of using polyethyleneglycol (PEG) as dispersant, the aggregation of the particles could be resisted by the steric restriction effect. Thus, in a certain nanometer scale, Mo0.9W0. 1S2 nano-crystalline with layered-structure tended to transform to IF structures.
