摘    要:A novel solid-state method for the preparation of the CdS nanoparticles at the room temperature has been developed. The nanoparticles were characterized with FT-IR, XRD, TEM, XPS and PL techniques. The results indicated that the surfaces of the CdS nanoparticles were modified with sodium thioglycollate and thus they were water-dispersive. The mean particle size was about 3~5 nm. A blue shift has been observed in the photoluminescence emission spectrum.
