Abstract:Abstract

First order phase transition at 163–172 K is found in the (BEDT-TTF)3AgxI8 compound in close vicinity to the temperature range of superionic conductivity. This observation indicates formation of the mobile silver ions in the salt as a consequence of sublattice melting.
