| Abstract: | The paper reviews the advance of FEM in time domain including compatible or incompatible time FEM and time-space FEM both in China and abroad. Major research results by these methods are briefly reviewed and the future research is commented. Finally, the vast vistas of the development of FEM in time domain is briefly discussed. |
