| Abstract: | A model of transversely isotropic viscoelastic layered strata is used to simulate the soil layers situated on a half space. At the bottom of the strata, dampers are used to absorb the vibration energy. The thin layer element method is used to derive the discretized free vibration equation, which satisfies above boundary conditions. By using the method of solving normalization eigenvector, which corresponds with Kausel' 5 orthogonal conditions, the expressions of relevant coefficients are given. And at last, the general formulas of displacement responses of transversely isotropic elastic strata to harmonic ring loads are preserted. |
