| Abstract: | Specific characteristics and complexities exist in the mechanical properties of living materials, and special consideration is needed in an experiment on the mechanical properties of living material. In this paper, methods and some measuring techniques concerned for measuring the static mechanical properties of arterial wall are presented. Experiments on rabit carotid arteries are given. Results are satisfactory. |
