静水槽孤立波的实验研究

摘    要:本文在静水槽中复现出单孤立波,将实验得到的孤立波的波形和波速与理论值比较,极为接近。同时,考察了孤立波的碰撞行为,它表明了孤立波的粒子性。还验证了孤立波的非线性性质。

Abstract:The Solitary wave is reproduced in a trough and it travels with constant shape and constant velocity. Experimentally obtained shape and veocitiy of the wave agree well with those computed by the KDV equation. The interaction between two solitary wave travelling in opposite directions is observed in relatively shallow water of uniform depth. It shows the particle like quality of the solitary wave. Experimental results also show that the solitary wave is nonlinear.
