| Abstract: | Based on the concepts of "Isoparametric Transformation Regularization", we analyze the essence of the pass through patch test and the drawbacks of Qm6 element proposed by E. L. Wilson and improve it by "Inversion Crime" method in the paper The new element Qmm6 is advantageous in taking less CPU time, achieving higher accuracy and identifying distortion characteristic easily. The convergence of the present method and its effects on the element stiffness matrix are also expounded. In the end, we provide three concise formula to identify characterics of three kinds of nonconforming elements Q6, Qm6 and Qmm6 based on Wilson nonconforming interpolation function. |
