| Abstract: | In this paper, we gave a brief introduction to the Sixth National Symposium on Solid Mechanics for Young Scholars hosted by Lanzhou University, reviewed some of the scientific reports presented at this symposium, and presented a few constructive suggestions on the development of solid mechanics subject in the new era. |
