摘    要:就人工关节中广泛使用的超高分子量聚乙烯(UHMWPE)髋臼在运行中的瞬态表面温度场进行了理论计算,与理想光滑表面对比考察了微球表面织构对接触压力分布的影响及其引起的表面温度变化.结果表明,基于光滑表面计算得到的髋臼表面温度偏低,而基于规则织构表面计算得到的温度与文献值接近;髋臼表面温度随摩擦系数和载荷增加而升高,随关节摆动而呈现周期性变化.

Abstract:The unsteady temperature distributions on ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) acetabular cup for artificial hip joint were calculated. The contact pressure distributions and related surface temperature changes on the surface of the UHMWPE acetabular cup with designed micro-ball texture were investigated and compared with those of an ideally smooth surface. It was found that the computed temperature for the ideally smooth surface was lower than the reported temperature determined experimentally, while the computed temperature for the surface with regular texture agreed well with the measured temperature reported elsewhere. Thus it was rational to take into account the surface texture in calculating the surface temperature of the UHMWPE acetabular cup in motion. Moreover, the friction coefficient, and load, and the swing of the hip joint all had effect on the cup surface temperature. Namely, the cup surface temperatures increased with increasing friction coefficient and load, and it oscillated periodically with the hip joint swinging.
